Karuna Cambodia raised $1,000 emergency humanitarian assistance to help meet some of its most critical needs in the wake of the country’s worst flooding in over a decade.
Volunteer is working with the teachers of Chea Smarn Elementary and Junior High School to assess the needs of poor student parents in the vicinity of Roluos South, Bakong district in a flood plain near the bank of the Tonle Sap Lake.
50 families received a kit of:
– Rice: 1 bag (25 kg)
– Vegetable seeds: 4 varieties
– Money: 10000 riels
